Arrived at beach at 5am to take part in the Sunrise 2 Sunset Windsurf for cancer research. Wind was very light from the west so rigged 5. and put it on Anna's RRD Easyride. Good fun starting off with loads of mates and others about 30 in total for sunrise.

Plooded around a bit out to the sand bar and on the way back, the wind dropped to nothing about 8am. Eventually got back in and got back of wetsuit for a bit.

Back on water about 10am for the BBC South camera crew. The wind then started to pick up and was offshore. So I rigged up Dad's 7.5 Gun Ride and 138L Xantos with monster fin of 43cm! Once away from the shore there was plenty of wind.

Had a BBQ under a tarp at back of van in the pissing rain, then went back out. This time wind was a bit stronger and it was alot colder. Got hot hand aches in May! Thats just not right, so by 4pm I could not go on so packed up!

As I left at 5pm, Dan was still going strong having not been back on land since Sunrise! The only one at Hayling to do this!

Really enjoyable day, just shame it was cold and wet!
